Day 01: Get to Colombo, then go to Bentota and spend the night there

When you get to Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your private driver for a beautiful ride to a charming beachside hotel in Bentota. Take a walk along the golden dunes in the late afternoon, feel the soft ocean wind, and watch the sun go down. End the night with a beverage at a seaside bar or on the patio of your hotel while watching the sun set. Spend the night at Bentota, where you may relax to the sound of the surf.

Day 02: Relaxing on the beach and helping to save turtles; staying overnight in Bentota

Start your day off right by resting on Bentota’s beautiful beaches or doing optional water sports. In the afternoon, go to a local turtle conservation project to see and interact with hatchlings or hear about conservation efforts. This is a personal and significant event for couples. You may end the day with a private sunset cruise down the coast or a romantic meal by the water, making memories as the sun goes down. Spend the night at Bentota.

Day 03: Drive down the coast to Galle Fort and walk at sunset. Stay the night at Galle.

Take a beautiful drive down the southern coast to Galle Fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a private guided tour of the fort’s colonial streets, boutique stores, and peaceful alleyways. You’ll see charming cafés, ancient buildings, and secret overlooks along the way. Stop for cocktails at sunset on the fort walls that gaze out over the Indian Ocean. Stay overnight in Galle in a boutique or heritage hotel, and enjoy the beauty and closeness of the fort town.

Day 04: Drive from Galle to Ella through the beautiful Highlands and spend the night in Ella

Leave the coast for Sri Lanka’s misty highlands, stopping along the road at magnificent mountain vistas and tea farms that are full of life. When you get to Ella, have a leisurely afternoon tea with a view of the valley, surrounded by tea gardens and hills that flow down. In the evening, take a slow walk to a local viewpoint to see the sunset over the mountains. This will be a peaceful experience that you may share with others. Stay the night in Ella in a lovely boutique lodge.

Day 05: Exploring Ella and taking a romantic train ride; staying overnight in Ella

You may start your day with a visit to Nine Arches Bridge at daybreak or a peaceful walk through the emerald tea fields. Later, embark on the scenic train for a short trip past waterfalls, foggy forests, and rolling tea farms. This is a great time to take romantic pictures and spend time alone together. Come back to Ella in the afternoon for a couple’s spa treatment or a private supper. Let the day’s beauty sink in. Stay in Ella overnight.

Day 06: Ella to Udawalawe for a safari and sunset, then spend the night near Udawalawe

Drive to the Udawalawe National Park area and get there in time for a private jeep safari in the afternoon. See elephants, deer, and a lot of birds in golden light while enjoying the solitude and pace of a guided tour. Go back to your lodge, which has a pool and places to eat outside, and enjoy a calm meal in nature. Spend the night at a charming lodge close to Udawalawe.

Day 07: Morning safari and drive to Mirissa; stay the night in Mirissa

Take a guided nature drive or a moderate bush walk in the early morning to see and hear the sights and sounds of the park in soft morning light. Leave for Mirissa Bay on the south coast, where you may spend the day sunbathing on the beach or take a short boat trip down the coast after sunset. Finish the night with a romantic supper on the beach beneath the stars, listening to the waves and having quiet, candlelight moments together. Stay the night at Mirissa.

Day 08: Leaving from Colombo

You may spend the morning as you like, with the choice of guided snorkelling, yoga, or relaxing on the beach. Take a private transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport, with the opportunity to stop at a beach café, artisan village, or picturesque viewpoint along the way.
