Day 01: Arriving in Colombo or Negombo / Stay in Negombo

When you get to Bandaranaike International Airport, meet your private guide and take a ride to Negombo. Take a leisurely walk around the beautiful lagoon after an evening introduction that introduces you to the region’s history and religious locations. Spend the night in Negombo, where you may rest and get used to everything.

Day 02: Negombo to Anuradhapura / Stay the night in Anuradhapura

Drive north to Anuradhapura, the ancient capital known for its spiritual and historical importance. You may see the holy Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the beautiful Ruwanwelisaya stupa, and old monastery structures. In the evening, take part in a cultural insight session to think about what you learned over the day before spending the night in Anuradhapura.

Day 03: Mihintale and Polonnaruwa / Stay the night in Polonnaruwa

Start your day in Mihintale, which is known as the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. It has beautiful vistas and holy sites. Go on to Polonnaruwa to see Gal Vihara, the Royal Palace, and old temples. You may learn about the spiritual and architectural importance of these places. Stay the night at Polonnaruwa.

Day 04: Polonnaruwa to Dambulla & Sigiriya / Overnight near Sigiriya

Drive to Dambulla and see the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site with beautiful frescoes and old Buddha sculptures. You can see its frescoes, water gardens, and panoramic vistas from the top of Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Stay overnight near Sigiriya, where the village scenery is peaceful.

Day 05: Sigiriya to Galle / Overnight in Galle

Take beautiful interior and seaside roads south to Galle, a walled city with a lot of colonial history. With a private tour, you may see Galle Fort, its walls, cobblestone streets, and colonial buildings. Take a walk along the fort at sunset and enjoy the views of the Indian Ocean. Then spend the night in Galle.

Day 06: Galle to Unawatuna / Overnight in Unawatuna

You may spend the morning at Unawatuna Beach, where you can surf, snorkel, or just relax by the water. In the afternoon, you may learn about local traditions by taking a guided stroll through the village or a cultural cookery class. Have a tranquil evening on the beach to end the day before spending the night in Unawatuna.

Day 07: Departure via Colombo

Take it easy in the morning before going to Bandaranaike International Airport. On the way to Colombo, you can stop at a seaside village or artisan market to do some last-minute souvenir buying. Leave with memories of Sri Lanka’s rich history, colourful culture, and beautiful, clean beaches.
